Chua Hui Wen

Patent Associate

Hui Wen worked as a Research Associate for 8 years in various Research Institutes and Pharmaceutical Industries. Some of the companies she has worked for include the National University of Singapore (NUS), the National University health System (NUHS) and National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). Her research area includes virology, cancer biology and cancer immunology.

During her time as a researcher, she has collaborated with government bodies and successfully developed diagnostic kits for influenza flu viruses subtyping. Her work also involved developing potential antibodies candidates which are currently in clinical trials. She has also been named as one of the authors in science papers published in Clinical Chemistry, Molecular and Cellular Probes, as well as Nucleic Acids Research Journals.

 

At Horizon IP, Hui Wen is involved in patent drafting, patent filing, patent prosecution and any work in relation thereto, in both US and Singapore.
