Patents and trademarks form the core of our services. We have extensive experience with Patent and Trademark preparation and prosecution, including utilizing Patents Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and Madrid Protocol to facilitate worldwide coverage.

To complement our preparation and prosecution work in patents and trademarks, we also assist our clients in developing IP strategies that are tailored to meet their needs. These strategies have included IP portfolio management, monetisation, and defence against claims of infringement.

In advising our clients on IP portfolio management, we have developed various innovative IP management tools. Some of these are patented or patent-pending.

We have also worked closely with reverse engineering firms and internal failure analysis groups on monetisation cases. Here, we identified potential infringement of our clients' patents and assisted them in developing litigation strategies for defending claims of infringement. This included conducting prior art searches to invalidate patents. We have also been involved in several patent litigations as well as licensing activities.
